Vermiculite is a natural, volcanic mineral which is non-toxic and does NOT contain asbestos !

It is commonly used for lining and insulating stoves, furnaces, industrial ovens and fire proofing and withstands up to 1150deg C. It can be easily cut with a hand saw if required.

Vermiculite stove bricks are far superior to traditional clay refractory bricks and offers far better insulation. This results in increased internal burning temperatures, and cleaner burning of fuels.
